Deep River Cross-Country Ski Club
Guidelines
At DRXC, we value respectful trail use and a great experience for all visitors. These guidelines make expectations clear and help everyone enjoy the trails year-round.
Ski Season Guidelines
Season Duration: During winter months when ski trails are groomed for cross-country skiing.
Membership reminder
If you're new and skiing the trails more than three times in a season, it is recommended to purchase a membership to support grooming and trail maintenance.
Dogs
To protect groomed ski trails, dogs are not allowed on designated ski trails during the ski season
-
Ski trails are marked with the letters: D, R, X, C, M, S, B and H
-
You may also notice occasional signage indicating no dogs on the ski trails.

Trail Directions & Crossings
All cross-country ski trails are designed to be skied in a clockwise direction. You can tell you are going the right way when you are facing the trail letter markers (D, R X C, M, S, B, H).
Please follow the intended direction to help avoid collisions with oncoming skiers.
Snowshoe trails occasionally cross over ski trails. Snowshoers are asked to use caution at these intersections and yield to skiers to help keep everyone safe.

Non-Ski Season Guidelines

If your dog is not under voice control, please keep them on leash.
-
If you encounter someone uncomfortable with your dog, please leash them out of courtesy.
